Have a good ride!

From Metropolitan Cathedral to Mario Quintana Culture House, through São Pedro Theatre and even the centenary Public Market, Porto Alegre has tourist attractions that suit all tastes, interests and curiosities. As travel agents say – obligatory sightseeing. But in this edition, we have prepared a different script for you to know other interesting aspects about the capital.

Besides describing buildings and monuments that usually are not on tourist guides about the city, we suggest, for the first time, spaces with outdoors events and other ones dedicated to bohemia. Enjoy the ride!

Antiquarian paths

The tourist’s curious gaze discovers relics that could only possibly be there. Region full of art galleries and flea markets, the Antiquarians Paths, at Historical Centre, values the work of artists and merchants that provide the visitor a travel through time and an excellent outdoors history class.

The outdoors fair which occurs on Saturdays extends itself within Coronel Fernando Machado, Coronel Genuíno, Demétrio Ribeiro, José do Patrocínio and mainly on Marechal Floriano Peixoto Streets, that concentrates a largest number of antiquarians. On sidewalks and partially on the road, artistic objects and antiquities attract vintage culture collectors.
